Super Plant Seekers *FULL*

From down below in the roots to the tallest trees in the forest, discover the incredible world of plants! We’ll spend our days seeking out edible plants, learning what plants have healing powers and the important role plants play in our ecosystem. We’ll discover the amazing adaptations plants have that help them survive and all the ways wildlife and humans have used them to survive past and present. We’ll scout our Nature Sanctuary to learn about native plants and create crafts, all while making friends and enjoying the forest.

Week-long Camp — Wilderness Scouts Track: July 8-12, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 2-3
Drop off Location:
Grades 2-3 meet in Heron Hall, in our Interpretive Center at, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. Please drop campers off in paved parking lot on north side of campus.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
