Tuesday Bird Song Walks: Cooper Mountain Nature Park

Join Julian Hwa and friends for an energizing Bird Song Walk. In the West hills of Beaverton, Cooper Mountain Nature Park is one of the top places to hear singing birds! It hosts many resident and migrant songbirds in its varied habitats, including White-crowned Sparrow, Spotted Towhee, Common Yellowthroat, Black-headed Grosbeak, and Lazuli Bunting. Keep in mind that this park is located in the West hills, the roads leading up to the park can be icy. Come prepared for variability in weather on cold and rainy Spring mornings.

Bird Song Walks at Cooper Mountain Nature Park occur every Tuesday, beginning April 4 and ending May 23. Walks are held from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. RSVP below!

Distance: Up to 2.2 miles
Elevation Changes: up to 300 ft., occasional steep slopes.
Trail Tread and Width: Gravel and packed dirt paths.
Pacing: Slow with frequent stops
Amenities: Accessible restrooms, parking lot on site.
