Audubon Birding Day: Birding the Upper Clackamas River
Join Dan van den Broek on this exploration of the Clackamas River drainage as well as mountain lakes, meadows, and coniferous forest where the summer time bird activity will include encountering family groups of a variety of species and and some species forming mixed species flocks and moving into areas with reliable food resources. We hope to find Hermit Warbler, Lincoln’s Sparrow, Western Bluebird, Townsend’s Solitaire, Chipping Sparrow, Canada Jay, and possible woodpeckers include American Three-toed and Williamson’s Sapsucker. Excursion limited to 8 participants.
