Watercolor Painting with Ronna: The American Robin

*This is a digital art class.

Birds are an excellent source of inspiration and a joy to paint in watercolor. Join this live, online class to paint alongside Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast.

As spring approaches in the Pacific Northwest, the well-loved American Robin appears more frequently in our yards and all around town. They may be one of the easiest birds to recognize, but to paint them in realistic color and form may be a challenge to a few. The voluptuous breast in reddish-orange, with blackish gray head and wings will come alive on paper as we paint a portrait of this endearing backyard bird.

Students can paint along with Ronna during this live class or work at their own pace with access to the recording of the zoom lesson after the session.
