Watercolor Painting with Ronna: The Barred Owl

*This is a live, online art class.

Join this live, online class to paint the Barred Owl alongside Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast. This class is appropriate for intermediate and ambitious beginners.

If you have every walked in Forest Park along the SW to NW side of Portland, you may have encountered the common Barred Owl. These territorial birds blend into the deep forest, with a streaked chest, and a round tuftless head. You may also hear the sound of these dark-eyed owls calling, “who cooks for you, who cooks for you all?” Join this online bird watercolor class to learn how to paint this hefty owl.

Students can paint along with Ronna during this live class or work at their own pace with access to the recording of the class after the session.
