Watercolor Painting with Ronna: The Great Blue Heron
This is an interactive, live, online art class on Zoom.
Join this live, online class to paint the Great Blue Heron alongside Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast. The class is held via Zoom Meetings, allowing participants to use their videos and create a more interactive class. Appropriate for intermediate and ambitious beginners.
The best place to see a Great Blue Heron is almost any wetland. These incredible birds are seen more often than any other herons. This class will focus on painting the lovely blue-gray feathers, long dark striped gray neck, and dagger-like bill of the Great Blue Heron.
Students can paint along with Ronna during this live class or work at their own pace with access to the class recording afterward.
Preparation Before Class
– An email will be sent to you a few days before the class with the photo reference and more specific colors for that bird.
– Please have your bird drawn or traced onto watercolor paper before class.
– Please have your supplies ready and set up before class.
