Introducing a new series of in-person watercolor classes with Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast. This class is appropriate for intermediate and ambitious beginners.
Let’s get cozy with these lovely little backyard birds and create something worthy of sharing during this holiday season. We will spend some time painting various wrens in watercolor and pen on watercolor gift cards. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season by creating lovely gift cards for friends and family.
Ronna will demonstrate various watercolor techniques such as wet on wet, soft and hard edge, subtle value shifts, creating luminous grays and darks, and introduce her signature style of loosely painted watercolor.
Ronna strives to build an atmosphere of learning by encouraging students to take risks, showing support and encouragement, and working alongside the class to assist in the understanding of watercolor painting.
