Wednesday Bird Song Walks: Mt. Tabor Park

Mt. Tabor is one of the most popular birding locations in the Portland Metro area and is a hotspot for migrant birds in spring. The mornings will include birdsong from our resident forest birds and colorful visitors like the Western Tanager and many warblers.

Bird Song Walks at Mt. Tabor Park occur every Wednesday, beginning April 5 and ending May 24. Walks are held from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. RSVP below!

Accessibility

Distance: Up to 3 miles
Elevation: 300 ft. (up & down)
Trail Tread and Width: Mostly paved road, paved trail, single track packed dirt/gravel, some steep stairs.
Pacing: Slow with frequent stops
Amenities: Two restrooms on site. Street parking available on SE park Dr. and nearby neighborhood.
Public Transportation: Tri-met #15 to 69th and Yamhill (.25 miles)
Meeting Location: The gates on SE Park Dr. will be closed. We will meet at the closed gate.
