Winter Finches

In this class, we will explore the diversity and characteristics of the finch family, from diet to behavior.  Then we’ll discuss how to identify and learn the common vocalizations of approximately 11 species of finch that spend the winter in Oregon. We’ll also touch on conservation issues that affect finches.
