Gulls in Winter

Autumn brings a great diversity of gull species to the Pacific Northwest. Sorting through the different species, and the various plumages of each species, can seem daunting. This class will show you what to look for when identifying an unknown gull. We will look at shape, behavior, and the various plumages gulls go through before they reach adulthood. Whether you bird along the coast, an inland river, or your local duck pond, you will soon be identifying gulls like a pro.
