Hoot’s There *FULL*
Come explore our forested and frosty winter wonderland over school break! Embark on two-day adventures of animal ecology exploration, searching for signs and secrets that are only uncovered in the winter landscape, discover how animals adapt, survive, and move through one of the most beautiful seasons at Winter Break Camp with Portland Audubon!
Hoot’s There Do all owls hoot? Are all owls only active at night? Join us to explore the adaptations that make owls so cool, learn about where they live, how they hunt, and uncover the important role they play in the ecosystem. We’ll practice observation and reasoning through hands-on interaction with owl specimens, owl pellet dissection, owl crafts, and search for signs of these mysterious creatures along the trails in our Nature Sanctuary!
