Deep Birding through the Seasons: Spring Approaches with Dan van den Broek and Candace Larson

Join Dan and Candace as we use a slower approach to connecting with nature with a focus on understanding birds. From March through July, we’ll dive deep into our senses, focusing on awareness and intention, careful observation, inspired field journaling and basic illustration and mindfulness. Module 1, Spring Approaches, will focus on the changing season, how birds are using the landscape, and an introduction to bird language.

At the height of diversity and abundance in our region, module 2 will help you connect more deeply with the life stories of these amazing world travelers.

Kiddos abound in July, providing us a great opportunity to experience the complex struggle for survival and dispersal.
