Please Note: Wildlife Care Center Avian Influenza Intake Policy (updated 5/20/2022)
Portland Audubon will not be accepting ANY injured ducks or geese for treatment (including ducklings or goslings). Injured ducks and geese are being referred to Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) (in the Portland area, the Sauvie Island office or Clackamas office). ODFW will provide these animals with humane euthanasia. Please call ahead when possible. Read more here.
The Wildlife Care Center admits native wild patients and operates its Injured Wildlife Hotline from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., 365 days a year.
