Learn

Our environmental education programs inspire people of all ages to explore and connect with the natural world, helping to build a sustainable future for all life.

Through programs for kids like camps, field trips, mentorship programs and community partnership, and adult programs like classes, outings, and ecotours, our expert educators help individuals develop their own authentic relationships with the natural world. All while exploring our wild places, learning about natural history, and building community.

Our Education Program

Together, with a strong community of educators, partners, volunteers, youth, and adults, our education program work to:

  • Facilitate an individual’s personal connection to the natural world
  • Remove barriers by centering relationships between people and nature
  • Create curriculum that is adaptive to teacher and community needs
  • Empower participants to access nature in the way that best serves their learning style
  • Foster awareness of the needs of the community and the natural world
  • Create future leaders in the conservation movement
  • Promote personal growth through nature as teacher

Our expert educators are stewards of the land, combining stories, natural science, and recreation to create and deliver programs that are accessible to people from all backgrounds. Bird Alliance of Oregon’s holistic approach to nature education promotes whole person development and healthy, vibrant communities.
