Modernizing the Wildlife Care Center

For decades Bird Alliance of Oregon‘s Wildlife Care Center has served as a vital resource for the region, providing the city and multiple counties with free wildlife rehabilitation and public education. Each year we treat 4,000 injured and orphaned wildlife, respond to 10,000 wildlife 911 inquiries, and educate over a million people to reduce wildlife hazards and promote the peaceful resolution of wildlife/human conflicts.

Built in 1987, our current Wildlife Care Center is no longer equipped to meet the growing demand for wildlife care and education. In the next year Bird Alliance of Oregon is planning to embark on an essential upgrade of the Wildlife Care Center, complete with an added second floor and surgical suite, to allow Bird Alliance of Oregon to remain on the cutting edge of wildlife care, education, research, and advocacy. It is vital for protecting the amazing wildlife that surrounds us for decades to come.
